We’re excited to announce the opening of our newest location in Sherwood Park.
To celebrate, Joe’s Sherwood Park will host a grand opening celebration on November 30th and December 1st. This will include special pricing on pints and our Joe’s burger, beer tastings and more!
We will be donating a portion of the grand opening proceeds towards prostate cancer’s “Movember” cause. Several of Joe’s Sherwood Park staff are participating in Movember, whereby men commit to growing a moustache to raise funds and awareness for men’s health. This is a fun way for us to support this cause and give back to the community, and we couldn’t be more proud of our staff for taking part.
If you’ll be in Sherwood Park November 30th - December 1st, be sure to stop by and join in on the fun.
Cheers!

There was a certain trade that was talked about this past summer that never came to fruition. It was a trade that involved three of the boys in copper and blue — Dustin Penner, Andrew Cogliano, and Ladislav Smid. In exchange for these three soldiers of fortune, the Oilers were to acquire a certain someone from the Ottawa Senators who now plays for the San Jose Sharks. Let’s call that certain someone “The Heat.”
The people at Original Joe’s here in Edmonton wanted to do something to “honour” the fact that the trade never happened, especially given the way PDP’s been playing this season. That’s why today marks the launch of the Beat the Heat charity campaign, sponsored by Original Joe’s, OilersNation, Global TV, Ignition Media, Just A Game, and Give Me Shelter.
Here’s how it works: any time one of Penner, Cogliano, or Smid scores, Original Joe’s will donate $100 to Give Me Shelter, which supports women’s shelters in Edmonton. Since it’s been an era since Smid’s last goal, Original Joe’s will donate $500 for Smid’s next goal and $100 for every subsequent goal.
At the end of the season, if the three Oilers score goals exceeding the total of their jersey numbers all added up, OJ’s will donate an additional $1,000 to Give Me Shelter.

We at Joe’s are pleased to announce the addition of leading wine brands from Vincor Canada to our menu, including Naked Grape, Sumac Ridge, Robert Mondavi and Ravenswood.
Vincor is the largest producer of wine in Canada, offering many labels you know and love. They’re a company with the same philosophy as Joe’s; offering a high quality product at a reasonable price, so we thought that Vincor products would make a nice addition to our menu.
Be sure to try a glass (or two!) of these newest additions next time you drop by Joe’s and let us know what you think.
Cheers!
